On PS4

I cannot get my microphone to work/The microphone is greyed out in the PS4’s settings?
1. Turn off your PS4 and remove the power cable from the electrical socket
2. Wait at least 15 seconds before plugging in and switching on
3. Connect your controller wirelessly and sign in
4.Connect the jack plug on you headset to the controller
5. Go to Settings>Devices> Audio Devices Set the output to ‘All Audio’
6. Speak into the microphone to test it and adjust the sensitivity
7. You can also adjust the headset by pressing the PS button on your controller and select ‘Adjust Audio Device’

My headset makes a buzzing noise?
Do not use your headset when charging the controller as electrical ‘noise’ may be transferred from the console


I cannot get the Mic to work, I have 2 ports on my PC how do I connect the headset
you need to obtain an adaptor cable such as the one shown in the link below: http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-3-5mm-Headset-Splitter-Adapter-Black/dp/B0058DOWH6/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1411284072&sr=8-11&keywords=audio+stereo+adapter+for+PC Once you have the cable, you will need to set the recording/playback defaults to your on-board microphone/speakers

I cannot get the Mic to work, I have 2 ports on my PC how do I connect the headset
Make sure that you have set the defaults to your on-board speakers and microphone. Go to control panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound>Manage Audio Devices. On the recording and playback tabs set the default. Some laptops have more than one microphone make sure it is set to the correct one. Try both if necessary.
